12 FlAVORS
The 12 FlAVORS at this kosher ice cream parlor in Midwood, Brooklyn don't compare to the better known 31 flavors of Baskin-Robbins. Parve may have something to do with it, but it's more likely a result of the misplaced lowercase L scribbled into the otherwise all uppercase word.
There's also an unnecessary dot on the uppercase i in SIDE, but that's not what we're about here, folks.

Parve is Yiddish. It refers to something with neither dairy nor meat content, which is useful to know to be in compliance with Jewish dietary law. By ice cream, the former is important for a couple of reasons: when people can eat it, and the "cholov yisroel" aspect.
The dot seems out of place. But, being a different color, i'd expect it is meant as a separator, rather than a dot.
Parve is also very handy in determining if something is vegetarian or not...
Where in Midwood? I used to live in Midwood (off Kings Highway), but my pretty ass relocated to Bushwick.
