You know it's big news when not one, but TWO lowercase L readers submit the same lowercase L occurence. Today Fox News sadly reports that five people were shot dead in an Illinois mall. What's even worse is that the image supplied by Associated Press, labeled MAll TRAGEDY, was a real tragedy itself.
But it seems that Fox News may be on top of their game after all, because moments after the image was submitted by both Rudy G. and Patrick Fitzgerald, FOXNews.com replaced the caption with a more appropriate uppercase L version (see below).

I wonder if they caught it on their own, or if they received complaints from normal people like us?

Haha. I love the last part..
"Illinois" would be awkward to spell with lowercase Ls... IllINOIS. yikes.
HAHh - I was thinkin' the same thing as John 'bout IllNOIS! Luvvin the blog!
Hey- thanks for the shout out!
Why would you take your finger off the shift key (or take caps lock off) just to type those two letters? This isn't sloppy handwriting, it's intentional lower-casing!
I remember when I first heard about a tragedy like this, and it really shook me. We often think of malls as safe, communal spaces, but when violence intrudes, it reminds us of life's fragility. The sheer impact of these events lingers in our minds, and it's crucial that media handles such topics sensitively. It’s refreshing to see outlets correct their gaffes, like Fox News did, as it shows they are responsive to public sentiment. On a lighter note, if you're looking for a fun distraction from heavy news, I recommend checking out Italian Brainrot Clicker for some entertaining gameplay.
