A modest Mike Houghton doesn't want to take credit for having discovered this lowercase L in Seth Godin's blog. Now, Michael, Seth Godin may be a best-selling author, but it was you who recognized this All SAlES gem, and in my book, that makes YOU the boss!
Gotta give the writer props, though. He spelled "you're" correctly. That seems to be pretty unusual.

ReplyDeleteDespite the use of the uppercase L in "mail", the signmaker used a lowercase i. interesting choice....
ReplyDeleteLike John, I noticed the lowercase i right from the start. I have been a "victim" of uppercase L/lowercase i combination my entire life. Being a teacher, it disturbs me to watch my young students make these upper/lower errors. :) Most common error for the children is entering the letter of their first name as a capital in EVERY word they write. James uses a capital J EVERY time. Bobby uses a capital B... etc.

A7I (I not only inserted uppercase L but it was upside down AND backward)
Family, friends, and colleagues continually spell my name ALi. I cringe. My Grandma actually writes it in cursive - ali
